I’m Ashley, & I love when the couple sneaks a private moment during the reception — it’s real!
Ashley was born and raised in Virginia Beach, where her love for celebration and creative detail began early. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Old Dominion University, a foundation that continues to shape her eye for design, texture, color, and thoughtful detail. Her natural creativity, paired with an instinct for sourcing distinctive pieces, allows her to craft celebrations that feel elevated and deeply personal.
She later earned her Master’s degree in Business Management, strengthening the organizational structure and logistical precision that define her planning process. This balance of creativity and strategy allows Ashley to design beautifully while managing timelines, vendor communication, and complex event logistics with clarity and confidence.
Wedding and event planning is more than a profession for Ashley. It is a genuine passion. She approaches every celebration with enthusiasm, intention, and a calm presence, ensuring your day unfolds seamlessly so you can remain fully present in each meaningful moment.
Outside of planning, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their two West Highland Terriers, who keep life lively and full of personality.
What’s In The Name?
Lauren is actually Ashley’s middle name! Growing up surrounded by multiple Ashleys in nearly every class and even among close friends, she began going by Lauren as a way to feel distinct and memorable. The name stayed with her and eventually became the heart of the brand.

Courtney was born in and raised in Chesapeake. She attended Old Dominion University and holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
Courtney loves being a wedding planner because she loves helping people and is passionate about creating the whole experience for her clients.
Her teaching background gives her the skill of alleviating stress and executing the smallest of details. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and assisting her couples plan their special day.

Hello to all my wonderful brides and grooms! My name is Taylor! This is my third year working for Soirees By Lauren. I am currently working on my Bachelors Degree at Old Dominion University studying my communications major.
When I’m not in class or planning weddings, you can find me at home snuggled up with my dog, Charlie. We live in Ghent right down the street from the best coffee shops to have all your meetings to plan that special day!
My favorite thing about the job is being able to see your smile through it all, so lets see what we can do to make that happen! Can’t wait to be working with you!
